Why do my newly tinted windows look hazy or have small bubbles?

This is completely normal! The window film is applied using a specialized liquid solution. For the first 3 to 5 days, you may see slight haziness or tiny water pockets as the film cures. The sun will naturally evaporate this moisture, and the tint will lay perfectly flat.

Can I roll my windows down right after getting them tinted?

No. You must leave your windows rolled up for at least 3 to 5 days after installation. Rolling them down before the adhesive has fully cured can cause the film to peel off the glass.

Understanding Utah Window Tint Laws (VLT)

When you get your windows tinted, you need to ensure your vehicle remains street-legal. Window darkness is measured by Visible Light Transmission (VLT)—the percentage of light that passes through the glass.

Our technicians are fully versed in current Utah tint laws and will help you choose a legal film:

Front Side Windows: Must allow at least 35% VLT (light transmission) into the vehicle.
Back Side Windows & Rear Windshield: Utah law allows for any darkness (even 5% "limo tint") on the rear half of the vehicle, provided the car has dual side mirrors.
Front Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield (above the AS-1 line) to act as a sun visor.
